Most of your questions are likely to be answered in either our House Manual or House Rules but just in case, here are a few other answers to frequently asked questions…

Whilst we are usually around, and enjoy meeting guests and showing them around in person, we have a lock box – The code is provided with your check in information after booking, a day or so prior to your arrival.

Check in after 3pm and before 10pm. Check out by eleven. Adjustments may be possible on request, depending on bookings and availability.

Unfortunately, we do not accept pets of any kind, sorry.

We can stock the fridge for you via our Hamper Service, but if would prefer to use your preferred shopping supplier, that’s all good with us.

No. We have a strict no smoking policy in the house and in the vicinity of open windows and doors, but there is an outdoor bench that is under cover should you wish to smoke outside.

All the beds are made up for guests with 400 thread count Egyptian cotton bed linen for use during your stay – We just ask that you kindly strip the beds before you leave ready for use to launder them for the next guests.

The duvets supplied are all feather. Half the pillows supplied are feather, the other half are synthetic. Each person is usually supplied with one of each. The pillows and the mattresses have mattress protectors. The bedding is 400 thread count Egyptian cotton. We take care to consider and provide for our guests needs wherever we can, and we endeavor to do so with products that are kind to your skin but we cannot make any guarantees. So, if you have severe medical conditions that require specific bedding, we would encourage you to bring bedding of your own as we cannot accept responsibility for your health conditions.

Only if you want to. We provide a bath towel, hand towel and face cloth for each guest to use during their stay.

Are basic toiletries provided?

Shampoo and shower gel is complimentary (Brand: Faith in Nature – Coconut) but you will need to bring anything else that you require, including toothpaste and your toothbrush.

Pretty much everything you need to make most meals is available, though there is no food processor, blender or electric mixer.

Children of all ages are welcome but the house has not been childproofed so you and your children stay at your own risk.

No, we don’t supply cots. We just have a Euro King, a King sized, a double and a single bed in the house, though we are happy for you to bring a travel cot if you need one.

Yes, we do have one, please request it at booking or before you check in and we’ll make sure its left out for you.

The back garden is entirely enclosed with a lockable gate. We have CCTV monitoring the exterior spaces but as yet there is nothing to lock anything to. This is under consideration.

There is a well stocked Nisa local shop in Hyde square behind the house that will be able to meet most of your immediate needs. The nearest large super market is a Tesco Superstore in Holmbush, Shoreham by Sea.

Only seven people are permitted to stay the night. However, an additional three people can visit during the day. Please keep noise to a level considerate of the neighbours. If your celebration meets these terms, then by all means, celebrate.

Yes, we have two cameras covering the front driveway / entrance, and a Ring motion sensored doorbell. We also have two cameras covering the back fence and gates.

Yes we do have a smoke detector in the kitchen and a carbon monoxide detector in the boiler room.
